Rock & Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, Calgary!

For all the belly aching people like myself and others do about how great Canada, our neighbor to the North is, it sure seems like they like being assholes sometimes!

While the notion of noise police may seem a crazy train of thought for heavy-metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, city officials will be closely counting decibels at today's Monsters of Rock festival.

When told noise police would be keeping tabs on the McMahon Stadium show, Osbourne thought he hadn't heard right and sought clarification from his wife, Sharon.

"Are you joking?" Osbourne then replied during an airport press conference yesterday.

Sadly, Ozzy, no, and it get's worst. The limit of the show is a whopping 65 Decibles, about the same noise level as traffic in that area. Or, in reality, the average level of a conversation. Need proof?

As you can see from this chart, 65 Decibles is about as loud as a... piano practice. A bass drum ALONE is 106 DB! Calgary, go fuck yourselves!
